Removing, Replacing, and Installing an Internal PoE Card

Step 2 Access the PoE card slot. See the “Removing and Replacing the Chassis Cover” section on page 6-4.

Step 3 Locate the card to be removed or replaced. See Figure 6-29 for the location of the PoE card on the

motherboard.

Step 4

Pull the PoE card out of the connector on the motherboard.

If replacing the card, insert the new PoE card into the slot.

Step 5 Place the removed card in an antistatic bag to protect it from ESD damage.
